St Cuthbert's Church Centre

 

A warm welcome to the St Cuthbert’s Centre, in the Baffins area of Portsmouth.

The Centre Community facilities are now managed by the Parochial Church Council (PCC) who  maintain and manages the Community Centre Facilities.

The Centre, spread over four floors, consists of:

  • Several community rooms of varying sizes available to hire.
  • A variety of activities for young & not so young
  • The Corner Pre-School
  • Baffins Surgery (Part of the East Shore Partnership)

St Cuthbert's Centre Entrance

There is a lift to all floors with toilets (including disabled) on the ground and second floors. Baby changing facilities are available on the second floor.

 

Hiring a Room

Whether you want to hold a conference, business meeting, run a club or class, celebrate a birthday, anniversary, christening or just have a party, contact Cathy Phillips, Parish administrator (details top left of this page) to discuss what you need to make your event a success.

 Bradbury Suite (third Floor)

This is a large venue in the original church dome. The arched windows and the blue and white colour scheme ensure that this room is breath taking.

Ideal for AGMs, conferences, meetings, wedding receptions, large parties, classes etc.

Size: 11.6m x 11.1m

Wells Smith Room (second floor)
This is a more traditional room with a fully equipped kitchen and stunning original features. It would be suitable for meetings, classes, and parties.

Size: 10.1m x 11.2m

Durham Room / Iona Room / Lindisfarne Room / Melrose Room (second floor)

These rooms are suitable for small group meetings up to a maximum of 8 people.

These rooms are all of similar proportions namely 4.5m x 2.4m. max. 2 (Iona & Durham) have (small) sinks.

Poppy Room (second floor)

Suitable for small group meetings up to a maximum of 25 people.

Size: 11.5m x 4.5m

Harmony Suite (First floor)

Size: 8.4m x 6.7m plus adjoining kitchen area and also adjacent office space.

 

 *Concessionary rates may be available for voluntary and charitable organisations and for new groups starting up.
